This Mardi Gras cake is a New Orleans traditional treat. Its sweet dough, subtly spiced with cinnamon, is beautifully crowned with vivid decorations. Concealed within are a variety surprises like cream cheese, fruit preserves, chocolate, or even the fabled baby!

If a sim finds the baby in their slice of cake they will get a happy and inspired moodlet. Sims will need to bake a King Cake themselves if they find the baby (as the tradition goes) or they will get a negative moodlet. If they bake a King Cake and fulfill their obligation, they will get a positive moodlet as well as a boost to all skills for 24 hours!

This recipe may use both EA ingredients and my custom ingredients. If you don't have the listed ingredients installed, they will be excluded from the recipe.

If you'd like to make this recipe your sim will need the Homestyle Cooking Skill.
